The Foot Reflex Zones
The therapeutic massage technique has been practiced in Asia for thousands of years. It is assumed that every part of the body has a corresponding reflex zone in the foot. All organs, muscles and bodily functions are in the corresponding reflex zones on the foot. A connection is established via the nervous, blood, lymphatic and life energy streams (meridians). By massaging the reflex zone, the associated organs and bodily parts can be influenced and the self-healing powers triggered.
