This element is more than just a cover

During treatment, the comfortable and effective positioning of the patient is the highest priority. Therefore our task was, on the one hand, to create a comfortable surface on which to recline. On the other hand, the way in which PowerSpa® works is greatly influenced by the contact that the patient has with the reclining surface. If all areas of a patient's body have contact with the surface, then it is easier for PowerSpa's oscillations to be transferred to the body.

When designing top quality cars, an outstanding car seat is the icing on the cake. Here, too, a perfect covering and support for the body play an important role. That's why we commissioned a famous car customiser with the design of the function unit. He developed a design that has the aesthetics of a modern sports seat. The reclining surface is divided into various zones with different degrees of hardness and has special textile darts to optimise its elasticity. We have therefore achieved our aim of creating a perfect adaptation to the body.

The surface is the first thing that you touch

That's true. It's not just the first thing, it's also the thing that you touch the most often. This means that it must not only be pleasant to the touch, but also resilient. And it is taken as read that hygiene plays an important role - particularly if there is more than one user.
We discussed the various aspects of these requirements with a specialist who has been producing covering materials for big brand names in the medical and furniture industries for many years. Together we selected materials that meet all of our specifications, both in terms of design and functionality.

The technology must be right and it must be user friendly

In terms of function, PowerSpa® is defined by its "inner life". The electronic components - infrared heat source and oscillation producing unit - must function perfectly and must do so over a long period. Here we rely on German thoroughness.

We purchase our components and the control software from a specialist German developer and manufacturer with great expertise in the furniture and medical technology sectors and in industry. The PowerSpa® software was specially optimised for us. We worked for almost 2 years, in order to make it possible to access all of the features of the PowerSpa® at the simple touch of a button. No system of this type had existed on the market until now.

In close collaboration with various physiotherapists and doctors over several years, we have identified areas that react particularly well physiologically to oscillating stimulation. Our motors are aligned to these areas and combined with heat sources.
